I love stories where people who
loved before get back together. Mohab is determined to win back Jala and it
definitely shows. This is a very short read, that’s perfect for a quick pick me
up read that leaves that happy glow behind. It’s a superb example of what Ms.
Gates is great at, creating interesting characters that are well written and
easy to invest in.
Mohab is sweet, kind and I
loved his determined attitude when it comes to getting Jala back. Jala was also
sweet and I like that I also see the real hurt that the betrayal caused and I
liked that she questioned his sincerity.
There felt like there was a
lesson about letting the past go and forgiveness is about letting go of pain. I
really recommend this story. I also fully admit that I’m a huge fan of Ms.
Gates and read pretty much everything she writes.
